Wedding Photography in Omaha

We are Silent Scene Studios, a photography studio based in Omaha. We shoot most weeks somewhere between the Old Market and the Haymarket, we work every wedding with two camera bodies, and we cap the calendar at a set number of weddings a year so that nobody gets the leftover version of us.

The whole studio is bilingual — the consultation, the planning, the day itself and the delivery can happen entirely in English or entirely in español. Weddings, quinceañeras, communions and cultural celebrations all get the same coverage.

Omaha wedding venues we know

Every venue presents its own lighting problems and its own gifts. These are the Omaha rooms and gardens we have actually worked, and what we do differently in each one.

  1. 01

    Joslyn Art Museum

    Ceremony · Reception

Marble interiors and a set of dramatic staircases that do most of the compositional work for you — we shoot the processional and the portraits against the stone rather than fighting it.

The outdoor courtyard gives you a second, softer setting a few steps from the marble, which matters when a timeline runs long and you still owe your family formals.

Evening events here are spectacular, and we plan the portrait block around that rather than treating the building as a backdrop we can use at any hour.

  2. 02

    The Flats at 84

    Reception · Portraits

Industrial-chic warehouse space with huge windows — the reason we push couples here for their portrait window rather than the reception hour.

That window wall is a natural-light portrait setup that needs no lighting rig, so the getting-ready and first-look coverage stays quiet and fast.

It also handles a grand reception, which means the whole day can live under one roof if you want it to.

  3. 03

    Omaha Design Center

    Ceremony · Reception

Versatile and bright, with high ceilings that give a room full of people somewhere to breathe and give us height to work with.

This is the Omaha room for couples who want a modern, editorial feel rather than a traditional ballroom look.

Because the space is so adaptable, we walk the floor plan with you beforehand — the same square footage can read three different ways depending on where the ceremony faces.

  4. 04

    Lauritzen Gardens

    Ceremony · Portraits

Our personal favourite for outdoor ceremony backdrops in Omaha: a rotating canvas of colour that changes across every season.

An oasis of floral beauty is not a small claim, and it is the reason a May wedding and an October wedding here produce two completely different galleries.

Book us early enough and we will tell you what is actually in bloom the week of your date, so the portrait route is planned rather than improvised.

  5. 05

    Omaha Marriott Downtown

    Reception

A grand-reception room we have worked, downtown and close to everything.

  6. 06

    Backyard ceremonies in Papillion

    Intimate ceremonies

Not every Omaha-area wedding is a venue wedding. We have shot intimate backyard ceremonies in Papillion, and they get the same two-camera coverage as a ballroom.

For engagement sessions we usually head to the Old Market — cobblestone streets and brick façades, which is the most reliable urban backdrop in the city. Ask us for a full gallery from your venue and we will send one, start to finish, not thirty cherry-picked hero frames.
